Riley Aleczander Donihue (Riker) is a very talented young man.  He began speaking at 10 months of age in whole sentences and never really stopped.  He's very focused.  When there's something he wants to learn to do, he throws himself into it.  From age 2 to about age 4 he spent mastering standing on his head.

Unlike his older brother, Riker was born early - by about 4 weeks.  He couldn't wait to get out into the world and surprised his parents by being born while they were out of town at a business convention so they ended up staying out of town about 1 1/2 weeks longer than expected.  But, boy was it worth it!

Riker is a very good artist.  At a very young age, he would amaze people with his dozens of drawings and paintings.  His gift for art also carries over into music.  He plays the guitar extraordinarily well and also sings very well.  Riker also plays keyboards and enjoys composing his own music as well as learning other people's songs.  He's even a very good dancer.

Riker enjoys many activities.  He's constantly involved in one thing or another.  He likes basketball, soccer, skateboarding, rollerblading, bicycling, hiking, and the list goes on.  He's also a red belt in Tae Kwon Doe and participates on a demo team where he performs for local schools.  Riker constantly amazes people with his gifts - doing anything from summersaults in mid air to riding a unicycle all over the neighborhood.

Riker also likes to work on his computer.  He has a very creative mind and the computer comes very naturally to him.

Riker is a very considerate boy.  He makes friends very easily and everyone in town seems to know who he is.  He tries very hard to be polite and to do the right thing.  He has a very good sense of integrity and is honest in everything that he does.  We're very proud of our Rike!
