Daniel Walter
Donihue (Dan) was born on February 11, 1964 in Portland Oregon.
As a preacher's kid, he moved around a bit. As a young child,
he lived in Oregon, Montana, and eastern Washington. At age 13
Dan's family moved to their final home where Dan grew up in Auburn
Washington - just a few miles south of Seattle.
At the age
of 14, Dan began to teach himself how to play the piano. By
the time he graduated from high school, he had thousands of hours of
practice under his belt and ended up being voted "Most Talented" in
his senior class - the '82 Brew Crew of Auburn High. Dan still
enjoys playing music and singing and has a studio in his home where
he can compose, record, play old favorites, and sometimes shake the walls a
bit.
Dan loves
to go boating. He christened "Stayci Rae" after his
bride. He loves just about all outdoor activities. Golf,
basketball, hiking, camping, swimming, wakeboarding, biking,
snowboarding, motorcycling, running...you name it! Dan
also enjoys reading, playing music, going to his kids' games, and
listening to talk radio while working. He really likes to
travel with his family and tries to take plenty of time off whenever
possible to do it.
Dan's
alter ego is in the game of soccer. He's a coach, a referee,
and is the Assistant Referee Administrator and Director of Referee
Instruction for our region. He loves the game of soccer -
loves to watch it, officiate it, teach it, play it, and analyze it.
Dan earned his Master of Science degree in financial services (MSFS)
from the Institute of Business and Finance in Southern California.
In addition, Dan is a Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF),
a Certified Annuity Specialist (CAS), Certified in Long-Term Care (CLTC),
and Board Certified in Estate Planning (BCE).
Dan is the founder and CEO of Community National Estate Group, Inc.
and Community Estate Financial & Insurance Services
- both headquartered in Castaic, California. He truly enjoys
helping families to meet their estate, financial, and insurance
planning objectives, and he considers it a real honor to work with
so many great people.
